Ryan Campbell Teen World Flight

A teenage Australian Pilot, Ryan Campbell of Teen World Flight is attempting to be the youngest pilot at 19 to fly solo round the world.

He chose Ding Duck as his mascot! Go Ryan!!

Departing from Wollongong, south of Sydney, New South Wales on June 30, Ryan island hopped through the Pacific and arrived on mainland USA at Van Nuys, California on Tuesday July 9. He made his way across the United States.

Flying on to Iceland, then Europe, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and then to Broome in North Western Australia. Ryan flew over the 'dead heart' of Australia to arrive back in Wollongong on Saturday, September 7.

With an aerial display for the Air Force Roulettes to herald his arrival, Ryan was welcomed by his relieved parents, family and a great throng of well wishers. Gary Clark was on hand to present Ryan with his own Ding Duck Plush Toy and an original Ding Duck Cartoon to commemorate the event.
