My first contact encounter with the swamp was in a swedish comicbook called "Serieparaden" i think it was around 1986-1987. After that it have been a favorite of mine. I can really recommend anyone who likes a good comicstrips with extremely good humor to look at Swamp. Just an ordinary day in the swamp

I am a school psychologist and chanced upon an apt Swamp cartoon over 20 years ago. I had held onto a faded photocopy for years but then misplaced it. Yvonne couldn’t have been more accommodating. She went to extraordinary lengths to find it in the archives and then Gary worked his magic on it - bringing to life with wonderful colours. It is proudly hanging in my office now. It never fails to get a laugh. Thank you both for your tremendous generosity!

SUPER HAPPY CUSTOMER - beyond expectations!I wanted to give my husband a special gift for his upgrade as an airline Captain so I researched trying to find his favorite Ding Duck cartoon. All I could remember was Ding being under pressure and his response was "I'd very slowly open my eyes" . The line is often quoted by my husband when he gets a difficult question. It turns out the cartoon was so old even Gary didn't have the original BUT he made a new one especially for me and personalized it too. I was unbelievably excited when my unsuspecting husband opened the gift, an original one of a kind artwork that fits perfectly into his logbook...so here is his reaction - he was totally stunned!

The best read/commic. Love Ding and all the characters. The first thing I look to when I buy The Gold Coast Bulletin, makes my day. Bought the books, a great laugh. Wear the Ding t-shirt when I go out, so many comments. Many thanks to Yvonne who handles sales. The best!

Swamp Cartoons are absolutely guaranteed to help start your day with a smile. At some point in our lives each of us would have come across people very similar to Ding, Wart, Old Man Croc - even the odd fly and mosquito. Yvonne & Gary are very pleasant to do business with. It is indeed a privilege to read each cartoon, and I am in absolute awe of a true craftsman using his creative talent - keep up the great work.

If only there was a 6 star option! Gary’s Swamp cartoons are a real antidote to the stresses that modern life throws at us all. Any pilots out there will really feel the empathy with Ding the duck and his continual attempts to fly!. Absolutely Brilliant!

I have been a fan of Ding and the rest of the crew for years, it is so close to the mark on most occasions, I have my suspicions there is a camera at the airport. I don’t want to get into the rats, they are too close to some people I know.I read it in the morning to set up my day!

I absolutely love 'Swamp Cartoons'. I began receiving them daily some years ago and have to say I have yet to see one that has not lifted my day and given me a good old belly laugh. I often wonder where the cartoonist (Gary) gets his ideas - each time I look at one, I do marvel at Gary's imagination and creativity. They are certainly there in full force. 'Swamp Cartoons' are so funny, so original and so Australian. Absolutely the best way to be. Keep them coming Gary. And thank you.In AppreciationLannah

I can't do without my daily dose of swamp characters and the situations they find themselves in. They are as real to me as the daily newspaper comic strips I devoured as a child. The strip's humour is relevant to the situations, sometimes dark. other times seriously funny and uplifting with life lessons thrown in.Swamp lightens up your day with it's cast of characters dealing with situations of their own making or the orchestrations of others.Well done Gary.

Having followed Gary Clark from his early days drawing toons for Truckin Life magazine, right up till Swamp, can honestly say I he is without doubt in my opinion a great cartoonist... His ability to almost bring to life the characters in Swamp and to give them their own individual personalities speaks volumes of his talents .... We all have our favourites and mine is the Bludgerigar , absolute gold ...

Can't beat a good Ding Duck or Bludgerigar comic to kick start the morning. The merchandise is pretty cool too. Keep up the good work Gary Clark. Nice to see an Australian comic strip still in print. Pity the newspaper bosses are slowly killing them all off.
