 Gary Clark’s 12,000th Daily Swamp Cartoon

Today, marks the day that Gary Clark has published his 12,000th daily Swamp Cartoon. Fittingly, it features his most popular character, Ding Duck. Way back in 1981 when he began writing Swamp, Clark did not envisage he would creating thousands of cartoon strips. His first cartoon was published in the Sunshine Coast Daily and is still being published there.

There are Sunday Cartoons written too which contain up to nine panels. That makes his tally close to 14,000 cartoons. An awesome achievement.
